what is give BIG?
giveBIG is a 24-hour online giving event, part of a national day of giving, that allows you to show your support for San Diego non-profits. Mark your calendar to participate in this meaningful day of giving ~ Midnight to 11:59 pm PST on Tuesday, May 6, 2014.
why give during give BIG on May 6?
On Tuesday, May 6, 2014, you, your friends and family will be able to donate online to participating nonprofits, including The Kid’s College. Through the San Diego Foundation, every donation between $25 and $1,000 will be increased through the giveBIG incentive pool. So every donation counts!
why give to Kid’s College?
The Kid’s College is dedicated to educating and inspiring elementary school students from all socio-economic backgrounds in San Diego’s North County, with professionally taught educational enrichment classes that align with and enhance school curriculum in Art, Science, Technology, and Life Skills. The Kid’s College’s mission is to expand its impact in low-income communities to brighten the future of underprivileged and at-risk children. Each year, The Kid’s College provides scholarships to 1,000+ underprivileged and at-risk kids, paid for by fund raising. Every $25 dollars donated provides half of a scholarship for one child.

how to give BIG:
Just complete the form to the right Tuesday, May 6, before 11:59 pm PST, ($25 minimum donation). Your payment will be processed through giveBIG’s secure donation portal. Check out how The Kid’s College is doing and follow the Leaderboard.
