Ann Little – Executive Director

Ann has 21 years of experience managing and developing marketing communications for technology companies. Most of her career she held positions as the Director of Marketing Communications, leading worldwide marketing communications teams and orchestrating integrated communications programs. Ann has held senior and executive level positions in large public companies and growing private companies. She has many years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, establishing new Marcom operations internationally, developing branding strategies, new product introduction communication plans, and balancing available budget dollars to create the most effective communications mix.

Ann has a BFA from Colorado State University with a emphasis in Graphic Design. Ann has been working with Kid’s College for ten years, starting teaching art classes, and expanding the number of students and schools served. She accepted the responsibilities of Executive Director in January 2011.

 

 Carole Beeson – Founder

Carole is a retired Elementary School teacher with professional experience as a Master teacher and Art Program Curriculum Coordinator for the San Marcos Unified School District (SMUSD). Her efforts resulted in the creation of an Annual Art Fair for her school, Richland elementary, which became a tradition at the school that is going on each spring to this day.  Additionally she established a theater and symphony field trip program for the school.

Carole has been recognized with several District and Community awards for Art education, including Who’s Who in Teaching. Carole has a B.S. in English through U.C. Berkley and San Diego State University. Graduate studies including credential requirements, was accomplished at United States International University.

Carole has been involved in the growth of The Kid’s College and is now active on the Kid’s College Board of Trustees.

Pam Harris – Director

Pam graduated from Cal Poly with a BS in electrical engineering and graduated with honors from San Diego State University with a MBA focusing on Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Pam has held positions as Director of Product Management and Director of Marketing in high tech companies. She has lead strategic planning, managed the product development process and product lifecycle management within the Engineering and Marketing organizations.

Pam assumed an active role in Kid’s College in 2004. Throughout her education and career, teachers and mentors have been important and guided her.  She has enjoyed those relationships and hopes through Kid’s College to create those types of relationships for children.
